Marinated Flank Steak Salad 1 lb Flank Steak Marinated for 48 hours in 1 cup of French & 1 cup of Caesar Dressing 6 oz Mesculin Mix Field Greens 1 each Red Beef Steak Tomato 1 each Lemon Boy Tomato 1 each Cucumber 3 each Heart of Palm 4 each Radish 1 each Fresh Red Beet 1 each Whole Carrot Preparation 1. Mix dressings and coat steak, cover tightly and marinate in refrigerator 48 hours 2. Char Broil Meat both sides to Medium Rare 3. Remove from heat and let stand on plate for 20 minutes 4. Slice meat against the grain thin bias cut 5. Assemble the salad in a large bowl 6. Field Greens First 7. Sliced Red & Yellow Tomatoes on Opposite Sides of Bowl. 8. Peel & Cut Cucumber on bias and Fan Out. 9. Diagonally Cut Hearts of Palm & Lay them on Field Greens. 10. Fan two or three slices of the flank steak on top of the field greens. 11. Curl Carrots & Beets twisting on top of flank steak. 12. Drizzle your favorite dressing on top of salad. |
